programs throughout the United States. Assist in the development of new initiatives and legislation in the arena of therapeutic work endeavors.

This was a position which was designed    
to systematically promote recovery oriented mental health services throughout the VA system.  The LRC provides staff education as well as cultivation of recovery oriented attitudes, services and programs.  It included serving as staff liaison to the Consumer Advocacy Council, involved  mentoring, training and overseeing peer activities, assisting in getting peers hired into staff positions and integrating them into MH service delivery, and working with the  Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center.

From 1997-2004 it included program management of the Transitional Residence program.
