Practicing nursing, both caring for and teaching patients self care skills for 26 years. Active in the lifelong planning for fulfilled potential of an autistic child, now an accomplished adult. Mrs. Max has participated as a motivational speaker for parents of children with autism at conferences throughout the United States and Japan. Ms. Max was an invited Panelist at research universities across Japan, following the Tsunami which devastated South Asia and Asia. Ms. Max’ skills were drawn upon for the development of new Web and national communications systems, for preparedness, response and recovery – which is fully inclusive of Individuals with Autism and cognitive and behavioral disabilities.
